Who are Apex Hotels?
Apex are a family-owned hotel company, headquartered in Edinburgh. They are featured in Best Companies’ top 50 employers list for engagement.
They have ten hotels situated in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, London and Bath. All hotels are stylish and contemporary and stylish and offer guests fantastic bars, restaurants, conference facilities and – in some locations – spas.

On top of their good ethos, Apex are passionate about giving back. Each year they choose a charity to raise money for. Staff at all hotels get involved in fundraising challenges to support the charity. From May 2019 – April 2020 Apex raised money for Cancer Research.
Apex places huge importance on staff wellbeing. They have a wellbeing budget which dedicates resources to supporting staff with their mental, physical and financial wellbeing.
They also provide training. In 2018, they partnered up with MHScot to deliver Mental Health First Aid Training to staff and the public. They have also partnered up with Mental Health charities SeeMee and SAMH to create improvement plans so that every single employee has stigma-free support available.
Each Apex Hotel also have an allocated number of vouchers which hotel managers distribute throughout the year to employees who deliver an exceptional service.
