Valor Hospitality Partners has been contracted to administer the Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh Hotel, the first hotel owned by the hotel management company in the city.

It has also recently expanded its business to include two new luxury properties in St. Andrews and Northern Ireland.

The addition of two new luxury properties in the world-renowned golf resorts of St Andrews, Scotland and Dunluce, Northern Ireland, brings the portfolio to 85 hotels administered worldwide including IHG, Marriott, Hilton and independent luxury brands.

The 240-bed, four-star, 240-star hotel in Edinburgh city centre is the first Valor Hospitality establishment to stay in the Scottish capital.

Courtyard by Marriott Edinburgh is a four-star 240-bed hotel located just blocks from Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

As Brian McCarthy, Managing Director for the United Kingdom and Europe at Valor Hospitality, said: "We continue to grow here in the UK, with close to 40 hotels now operating under our leadership, and we are delighted to be given this opportunity to expand into Edinburgh.

We have aspirations to continue to grow and fully develop our business. Euan McGlashan, worldwide co-founder and CEO of Valor Hospitality, said: "Hailing from Edinburgh personally, the city holds a special place in my heart. This in addition to our partnership with renowned chef Roy Brett and his Ondine Restaurant, means we are bringing our own very special brand of hospitality to this incredible city."
