Monday, January 4, 2021

Nicola Sturgeon thanked the boss of BrewDog after the company made its bars available to free immunisation clinics.

The offer was quickly applauded by social media users.

Company general manager James Watt tweeted: 'Hi @MattHancock & @NicolaSturgeon. We would like to offer our closed @BrewDog venues to help with a quick rollout of the vaccine. For free.

Nicola Sturgeon is already taking on BrewDog's offer, saying she will forward the proposed proposal to members of the vaccination squad.

Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon responded to the tweet by saying: 'Thank you. I'll pass this on to our vaccination team.'

The Scottish government said that it had nothing more to say about Ms Sturgeon's remark.

The figure rose by a third compared with the previous week and is the highest weekly total since the service was introduced in May.
