Stars Pubs and Bars invests extra £19m in lease concessions

Star Pubs & Bars has announced that tenants will have to pay the full bill from June 21.

Under this help, the group will extend its 90% reduction in pub tenancy rates to leased and leased property in England from 1 March to 16 May.

Between 17 May (when pubs inside are open if the government will implement a plan for the closing of bars) and 20 June, the discount will be reduced to 10% on rent concessions, so that 90% is paid by licence holders.

The group, which operates 2.500 pubs throughout Britain, has said pubs will also be offered lease agreements in Scotland and Wales as soon as there is "clarity from the Scottish and Welsh governments on reopening dates"

"If the Government sticks to its reopening roadmap plans, it should be a great summer as research shows the public can't wait to get back to the pub," said Lawson Mountstevens, chief executive of Star Pubs & Bars.
