Monday, December 20, 2021

Mauro Colagreco, executive cook at the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur in Menton, France, will open two eateries at Raffles in London at the end of next year.

The names of the venues have yet to be revealed but will feature an upmarket restaurant, a 'brasserie with a twist' and a 'private' cooking area.

Colagreco, who worked in Paris and headed Alain Passard, a sous-chef de cuisine at Arpège and Alain Ducasse, in the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, as de Partie Demi, began opening the Mirazur in the French Riviera in 2006.

"Chef Mauro is undoubtedly one of the world's most recognised chefs and our partnership reaffirms London as a preeminent global dining destination.

Mauro has a phenomenal reputation and we're excited to see him bring his experience to Raffles London with concepts that are tailor-made for our well-travelled guests," Stephen Alden, CEO of Raffles and Orient Express, said.
