Interstate Reports First-Half Success in the United Kingdom

Interstate Hotels & Resorts International, the international business of Aimbridge Hospitality, has exceeded its workload rate in the first half of the year of 60% in its portfolio of entire third-party accommodation and services.
The firm reported occupancy rates of 64.35 per cent in June, surpassing the UK average of 58 per cent.
During the summer time, further improvements of over 90% are expected as increasing demand for leisure travel is driven by the demand.
"We are expecting to see occupancies exceeding 90% in coastal areas this summer across our U.K. hotels and resorts as the country moves into step four of the government's roadmap out of lockdown," said Nicholas Northam, EPP, International, Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
Interstate closed in a strong position throughout 2020 with 31 properties taken from its UK investment portfolio led by Jupiter Hotels.
