Hilton hotel chain announces plans to hire 1.000 new employees

The hotel group said it hopes to recruit 1.000 new jobs this year in the UK and Ireland, after closing nearly 4.000 roles by 2021.
Hilton said it would open more than 1.000 jobs at its hotels in the UK and Ireland as it aligns its business with growing economies and promotes travel by easing restrictions.
The company said it expects strong growth with the loosening of global travel restrictions, as well as opening nine new hotels this year including Hampton by Hilton Bath City, Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone and Lost Property St Paul's London.
The recruitment announcement comes after a 'strong year' for recruitment at Hilton in 2021 despite continued shifts on Covid restrictions.
