English restaurant chain to open its first Scottish establishment

Rio Brazilian Steakhouse, who manage seven restaurants in England, including one in Golden Square in Warrington, will take control of the site of former Jamie's Italian at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.

Lunch prices start at £26.95, after dinner prices are set at £39.95.

The 150-square-metre George Street property, which is expected to open 'early' in 2024 including a sushi bar, will also be made.
