Alton Towers struggling to recruit 500 new employees

The Alton Towers resort currently employs more than 500 employees, but suffers from a recruitment crisis in the UK hospitality sector.
Alton Towers is organizing two Open Days for job-seekers who want to find out about the job openings.

The resort is currently hiring more than 1.000 people in a bid to boost staff for the 2021 peak season, but is also looking for vacancies for chefs, kitchen staff, housekeepers, restaurant and bar managers or doormen, lifeguards and passenger service workers.
Assistant restaurant and bar manager Junaid Ishfaq, who lives in the Alton Towers Hotel began working at the resort as an unpaid hospitality host aged 17.
