5-Star Luxury Accommodation Debuts on the North Coast: Dunluce Lodge

Wednesday, February 21, 2024

A new five-star hotel and hospitality venue, Dunluce Lodge, worth £16.5 million is scheduled to debut close to Royal Portrush golf course this fall.

Situated by the fourth fairway, the lodge will offer more than 80 local employment opportunities and feature 35 luxury suites.

The property will also contain a small spa, private dining facilities, and a cozy fireside lounge area.

Our on-site putting green, masterfully crafted by golf course designer Martin Ebert, is just one of the many perks for our visitors.

As an added perk, guests can enjoy private helicopter rides to the helipads at Royal Portrush and Portstewart Golf Clubs, along with entry to their esteemed clubhouses.

Valor Hospitality Partners, in collaboration with the Links Collection, is managing the facility.

Stephen Meldrum has been appointed as the general manager of Dunluce Lodge, expressing excitement about the venue setting a new standard for luxury on the Causeway Coast.

With the area's beautiful landscapes and famous golf courses serving as a backdrop, Euan McGlashan, the global co-founder and CEO of Valor Hospitality Partners, expresses his deep enjoyment of his professional environment.

The opening of Dunluce Lodge follows the acquisition of Adelphi Portrush by US firm AJ Capital Partners, and the upcoming opening of Andras Hotels' Marcus Hotel in Portrush.

Room prices have not been released, but will be accessible when their booking system goes live during summer.

With a prime location on the edge of the fourth fairway, Dunluce Lodge promises to offer guests an unparalleled experience as they prepare for The Open Championship's return in 2025.

"It is a thrill to be working on this incredible project in such an area of outstanding natural beauty and on the edge of such an iconic golf course." - Euan McGlashan

The hotel will be an essential addition to the area, providing top-notch accommodations and services tailored to golf enthusiasts and travelers alike.
