Job Description

Be part of the family...
We're a family business through and through - family owned, family run, with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small, but all offer good food & drink, great beds and a ton of things to do.

Crieff Hydro Hotel
Pretty much in the centre of Scotland, we're set in a 900acre estate in stunning Perthshire. Home from home, we've been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, six restaurants and over 60 onsite activities- there really is something for everyone!

About the role

You'll be a key member of our Resort Sales team, where you'll play a vital role in the start of the customer journey, helping to create memorable guest experiences. As a Reservations Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for all our guests' pre-stay needs across the family of hotels - assisting them in planning their hotel stays or day visits with warmth and professionalism. Some of your main responsibilities will include handling inbound communications via phone, email and live chat, outbound pre-arrival customer service calls, upselling and providing accurate information about room availability, rates, spa, dinning and activities. You'll also ensure that guest preferences and special requests are accommodated seamlessly, collaborating with other departments where necessary. So, if you're great at talking to guests and you have a passion for helping people, you will fit right in.

Ideally, you'll have customer service experience preferably in a hospitality setting however all relevant experience will be considered. Your passion for delivering exceptional customer service will shine as you assist guests in planning their perfect holiday. The ability to sell is a must, and you'll enjoy working to exceed sales targets. You'll be an effective communicator and able to demonstrate a passion for high levels of customer service and attention to detail. You'll have good numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.

What we need from you:

Acting as a brand ambassador at all times, you'll be filled with enthusiasm for creating memories for guests that will stay with them for a lifetime.

  • Customer service experience - ideally in a similar role.
  • Flexibility - there is no problem you can't fix.
  • Organised with a keen attention to detail - you'll keep us right.
  • Fun and easy to talk to - we're looking for personality, not a corporate clone.
  • Team focus - there are no egos here, just hard-working people who love creating memorable experiences for every guest.
  • An eagerness for developing customer relationships - the ability to give the customer a memorable experience by matching their requirements to our amazing facilities.

If this is you then we would love to hear from you!

What you'll get from us

  • Great benefits - including pension, and discounts on leisure membership, food and hotel stays.
  • Training - we have inhouse training; with opportunity to continually grow and develop your skills.
  • The chance to work in a friendly team and forward-thinking company with investment as a priority.
  • Live in accommodation may be available, should you wish to re-locate.
