A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN PORTER AT THE MUNICIPAL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Executive Chef you can expect your working day to include the following.

• Carrying out basic cleaning tasks as fast as possible.
• Collecting and washing up pots and pans.
• Cleaning crockery & cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready.
• Unloading equipment and food from deliveries.
• Ensuring the storeroom remains organised.
• Ensuring the staff canteen is well equipt for lunch and dinner provisions.
