A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KITCHEN MANAGER at THAMES RIVIERA

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the General Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

  • Establishing and maintaining excellent interdepartmental relationships with all Heads of Department and key company stakeholders
  • To build on positive and collaborative relationships within the hotel - we are one team!
  • To have accountability for the Kitchen function, budgets, food production and quality within all food outlets.
  • To support, nurture and develop the Kitchen team daily and during service, focussing on employee engagement and retention.
  • To work in partnership with the Financial controller in the management and control of costs, purchasing, GP, budgets and sustainability.
  • Develop and produce a consumer-led product in order to stimulate sales and bottom line profit.
  • Act with integrity and compliance in the adherence to H&S policies and company procedures.
