The Crerar Hotels Group has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the central marketing team for maternity cover at an exciting time for the company.

Being part of a central marketing team, the role currently oversees 10 hotels with the potential to expand across the UK. After a recent acquisition, this is an exciting time to join Crerar Hotels Group to be part of a rebrand and expansion of the current UK luxury leisure platform.

Every day is different with unique hotels in breathtaking locations. This role provides the opportunity to be part of the team building something new in the hospitality landscape while visiting stunning hotel locations.

THE ROLE:

As Group Marketing Manager you will support the planning, implementation and measurement of the marketing strategy, including but not limited to:

  • Be the go-to person for all hotel-level marketing and PR activity
  • Lead relationships across the business to best deliver the commercial strategy for the group.
  • Support in the creation and delivery of a calendar of events for hotels.
  • Evaluate and assist in the delivery of the brand customer journey.
  • Planning and executing photo and video shoots.
  • Assist in brand and hotel design work.
  • Support regular print and digital campaigns for the group and hotels.
  • Manage the hotel PR activity alongside an external agency, from top-tier media trips, influencer visits and press-worthy activations.
  • Support hotels in growing databases and segmenting data to reach the right people.
  • Work in collaboration with our revenue and sales colleagues.
  • Development of loyalty and tactical propositions to improve retention and incentivise repeat business.
  • Help in the day-to-day running and administration of the marketing office.
  • Coordinate outsourced external agencies, including design, digital marketing, CRM & App development.
  • Reporting of monthly results for senior stakeholders.

This role is maternity cover for one year and ideal for someone who currently works in a single unit, a multi-unit marketing executive looking to take the next step up the ladder, or someone who wants to pursue a career in hospitality & tourism marketing.  Previous experience in a digital-first role with competent skills in social media, CMS and email software would be beneficial.  A keen interest in hospitality, travel and tourism would be advantageous.

THE PERSON:

Are you enthusiastic about the UK hospitality industry with a flare of creativity? Are you able to think outside of the box? Then we want to hear from you.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of marketing work experience with a real can-do attitude and passion to grow within a company and team. Someone who thrives in a tight focused team environment and who can work independently and within a team environment.

Some experience with the below is preferred:

  • CRM management
  • Experience using Umbraco or similar web systems
  • Meta Business Suite
  • Photoshoot/video shoot management

THE LOCATION

You will be flexible home/remote-working – with access to a hot desk if required and occasional travel to our iconic hotels. A driving license is preferable due to the location of our hotels. Applicants must be able to travel to all hotels when required.
