Join our team at Scottish Agritourism, a leading sector body promoting agritourism in Scotland.

As the Go Rural Brand & Marketing Coordinator, you will be instrumental in driving awareness and engagement with agritourism experiences across the country, playing a pivotal role in implementing our consumer-facing marketing strategy. You will collaborate with the Head of Stakeholder & Brand Engagement to enhance the Go Rural brand's visibility and impact, utilising an integrated marketing approach.

  • Brand Development: Generate innovative ideas to elevate the Go Rural brand both locally and nationally.
  • Merchandise Sales: Source, evaluate and manage branded Go Rural merchandise, develop sales strategies and monitor performance, ensuring profitability.
  • Website Management: Maintain and update goruralscotland.com using Umbraco CMS and optimise member listings and provide support to maximise their online presence.
  • Campaigns and Content Creation: Execute marketing campaigns aligned with the Go Rural brand and produce engaging content for blogs, newsletters and social media platforms.
  • Social Media: Enhance Go Rural's social media presence with regular, compelling content and support and amplify content from Scottish Agritourism members.
  • Events: Assist in promoting and organising Scottish Agritourism events.
  • Business Administration: Address membership inquiries and manage onboarding processes, prepare monthly membership reports and provide general administrative support.
  • General Duties: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and team members and actively participate in meetings and contribute to organisational discussions.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Marketing qualification at HND level or above.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, SEO and social media management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Eventbrite and CRM systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to occasionally walk dogs and run errands.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.
