Springboard helps people of all ages and backgrounds to increase their career prospects within hospitality, leisure and tourism, working to reduce unemployment and poverty across the UK. Our education programmes provide professional skills and tailored aftercare to people with barriers to employment or those in education. We also provide practical work experience placements and careers guidance, which will ultimately lead to sustainable employment. Some of our most successful programmes include FutureChef – which has engaged over 130,000 participants over the 19 years that it’s been running, imbuing them with the skills and experience to consider a career as a chef – as well as CareerScope, whereby we link university students on hospitality-related courses with industry professionals and work placements. With our employer partners, we’re able to find and develop new talent while promoting the sector as a viable and rewarding career path through strategic partnerships with government and industries bodies as well as our alumni network.
