Scottish hospitality industry appeals to Nicola Sturgeon not to impose a 'devastating' shutdown

Nicola Sturgeon, the Scottish first minister, has ruled out a new national lock-up on new measures to be unveiled today to restrict the spread of the coronavirus.

The public and the business community are eagerly awaiting a decision on whether the first minister will impose further bans by her cabinet.
