Red’s True Barbecue Bought out of Administration

Club, bar and music venue operator, Tokyo Industries, has bought Red’s True Barbecue out of administration.
In result of the purchase, the Liverpool site will close, however the remaining restaurants in Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield, Headingley and Nottingham will continue trades as normal. The founders of Red’s will also be able to continue with the business.
Red’s sister company, microbrewery Legitimate Industries, has also been acquired as part of the deal.
Aaron Mellor, founder of Tokyo Industries has said that Red’s is an incredible brand with strong growth potential, and the passion that the Red’s founders have is creative yet rebellious and will make for a great synergy between both parties.
