Popeyes confirms location of six additional restaurants

US deep-fried chicken chain Popeyes has announced the sites of six other restaurants believed to create 600 jobs.
There is a new Popeyes restaurant in Chelmsford, Essex and one in Romford is scheduled to open in July 2022.
Founded in New Orleans in 1972, Popeyes opened its first UK restaurant in Stratford, London, in 2021, becoming, it says, the world's top performing of its 3.600 eateries.
Moreover, today it has 350 locations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Popeyes have previously said that it plans to grow to more than 350 locations all over the UK within the next decade.
The guests can order all traditional menu items such as the famous chicken sandwich and original Southern cookies with gravy.
Tom Crowley, CEO of Popeyes UK, said: 'It's such an exciting time for the brand, and we have even bigger plans in the works; we're dedicating a lot of focus currently to our rollout of drive-throughs alongside our strong pipeline of sit-down restaurants.
