Friday, June 14, 2019

A new restaurant is opening in London’s Soho and has claimed to be The City’s first modern Swiss-inspired restaurant, branding itself as luxurious and sophisticated, Heritage will welcome diners to a unique experience with table-top grills that guests can cook their own meats, seafood and vegetables on.

Head chef of Heritage, Aarik Persaud, has worked in the Chewton Glen Hotel and Hong Kong’s Butchers Club brand, and will be running the kitchen, while Elena Serban, former Hakkasan sommelier, is overseeing the curation of the wine list.

The menu offers a selection of traditional Swiss meals such as fondue, small plates of dry-aged steak tartare and lobster tart, sharing plates of rosti, and even dishes that feature 24-month ham.

This 80-cover restaurant will feature a centralised bar, as well as a semi-private area for banquet-style meals.
