Michelin announced 16 new Bib fine dining restaurants in 2022 guide

In the lead-up to the unveiling of the first Michelin Guide next week, restaurants such as Russell Norman's Clerkenwell Trattoria, Manteca in Shoreditch and Sargasso in Margate, Kent, were handed a Bib awards to restaurants that offer "excellent value for money."
Today (11 February), 16 Pubs have been given Bib gourmet awards, assessing the quality and value of food to be given to those serving three courses at prices under £30.
Out of 16 new entries, three have already been recommended in the guide, while 13 are all new entries for 2022.
Ka Pao was named Bib for its Asian-inspired cuisine, while Celentano's was recognized for its modern Italian-inspired cuisine using Scottish ingredients.
There were also two taverns in Michelin Guide 'We are excited to reveal these 16 new Bib Gourmand awards ahead of the full presentation of our 2022 selection.
Based on the number of restaurants that will be awarded in the 2021 Guide, it is estimated that 20 will have lost Bib Gourmand in the 2022 Guide.
Five Bib Gourmands have been awarded for restaurant locations in London, six in the rest of England, two in Scotland and three in the Republic of Ireland.
