Manchester Brewer Makes 'King of the North' Beer Inspired by Andy Burnham

Tuesday, November 3, 2020

Manchester based brewery has launched a new beer inspired by Greater Manchester mayor Andy Burnham to raise money for struggling restaurant companies.

The "King of the North" IPA was invented in the New English spirit by the Seven Brewery Brothers.

Seven Brothers partnered with TiPJAR and businesses in Manchester city to raise funds for one of the most vulnerable people in our area.

The brewery has joined forces with public corporation TipJar and, for each can, adds a QR code, which takes you, in turn, to a platform where you can leave a tip that you wish to collect with selected people.

SEVEN BRO7HERS are operating two beer houses, Middlewood Locks and Ancoats, in Manchester and a bar at MediaCityUK, which operates from the Salford pub.

Keith McAvoy, chief executive of Seven Brothers Brewing Co, commented: "We can't ignore the covid rates across our region but many businesses have been impacted by the constant rule changing and restrictions."
