Jamie Oliver has allegedly been 'gutted' by his parents' dislike of him, as he sold the pub he loves to cook at before making millions in the industry.

"ignited his passion for food" - Jamie Oliver

Jamie, 45, said it was 'heartbroken' as The Pub, where Jamie Oliver spent much of his childhood, had 'ignited his passion for food'.

Jamie's parents Trevor and Sally reportedly sold the Cricketers They've owned since 1976 to a chain, The Sun reports.

Father of five Jamie had earlier told the Daily Mail about the 16th century inn: 'I remember being fascinated by what went on in the kitchen. It just seemed such a cool place, everyone working together to make this lovely stuff and having a laugh doing it.'

A source told the magazine that Jamie had realised it was time to move on but was 'absolutely gutted' with the decision to leave the pub.
