Scottish craft beer company Innis & Gunn have renewed their long term relationship with C & C Group, continuing to produce and pack their beers at C & C's Wellpark Brewery in Glasgow and at their own brewery in Perth.
The company raised about £3.3million to invest in a redeveloped brewery in Heriot Watt University's research park to the west of Edinburgh.
Innis & Gunn's plans to build a new brewery in Edinburgh that would be the city's first large-scale brewery for 150 years have been put on hold.
C & C is also to sell up Innis & Gunn to Bulmers Ireland and Tennent's NI.
Finally, a long-term incentive scheme will provide C & C with a number of extra shared shares which are grounded in achievement of its performance targets.
Dougal Sharp, CEO of Innis & Gunn said,"C&C's strength in the on-trade across the whole of the UK and Ireland, and our long-term relationship, means we have solid foundations from which to build. We are retaining our independence and gaining a new distribution partner which can help us to introduce our brand to a much wider audience
