Filipino fast food cafe with Jollibee coming to Edinburgh's Princes Street

Back in 2018, London's first Jollibee opening saw a huge amount of fans queening outside to be the first ones in a get to try the famous Chickenjoy. 

Since then, the fast food chain opened a coupe of its sites across the UK.

Now, it's time for Edinburgh to get its first Jollibee restaurants as the company plans to open 50 of its restaurants across Europe in the next four years.

The expansion programme is said to cost £50 million.

Adam Parkinson, Jollibee's marketing chief, said what makes  Jollibee as a brand attractive and why it has such a following, is ist community spirit as well as hospitality. He states that both of those characteristics are true not only to the brand but also the Filipino culture.

The opening date for Edinburgh's Jollibee restaurant is yet to be confirmed.
