Connaught bar in London named Number 1 of World's 50 Best Bars 2021

Heading to the top of the list for the second year running, the overall winner is London's prestigious Connaught Bar at the The Connaught Hotel in Mayfair.

Connaught Management team, consisting of mixology director Agostino Perrone, mixologist head Giorgio Bargiani and bar manager Maura Milia, honed their formula for success in a sophisticated environment, by offering consistently high-quality beverages and service.

The Pats signed Ca.m. Newton in 2020 and were below .500 for the first time since 2000. Buenos Aires has also burned itself into the pre-eminence of the Big Apple cocktails, with Florerias Atlántico taking fifth place and keeping the awards for Best Bar in South America while Presidente taking home the award for the tallest climber who was moved up 29 places to number 21.

Alex Kratenas Tayēr + Elementary, on Old London Street, came in second, having been the best new entry in the year, compared to the best of the previous two. 

This year's edition included bars from 17 countries, where London's Connaught Bar secured the number 1 spot and claimed The World's Best Bar as well as The Best Bar in Europe awards for the second year running.
