Compass Scotland creates 100 modern apprenticeships with tailor-made training programmes

A hospitality company has today announced that it will create 100 new apprentice modern-age places across Scotland.

Compass Scotland has launched it's first tailor-made cutting edge apprenticeship scheme, which is aiming to create and develop 100 new modern apprenticeships in its first year.

The aim is to create a covetable career structure which offers real opportunities for abilities development and advancement with apprenticeships in restaurant, front-of-house, facility management, business management, retail, customer service and management.

Compass Scotland works closely with Scottish customers, Scottish company, hospitality interest groups, colleges and universities to implement the training programme, helped by Compass Scotland's Culinary Ambassador, award winning chef Tom Kitchin.

Jonathan Foot, head of apprenticeships and early careers at Compass Group UK & Ireland, added: "We provide a lot of excellent learning and development opportunities, but this is the first time we've got a Scotland-specific experience.
