It was set up in 2021 in the Scottish state capital by Nikki Gibson, who discovered a gap to the market as more people work from afar and venues seek new sources of revenue since the pandemic erupted.
The investment is Sutter's first outside funding launched last year in Edinburgh by events and marketing director, Nikki Gibson.
Meanwhile, the tech start-up has also designated its first director outside Scotland to concentrate on its British growth for the firm, which earlier this year received a Scottish Government Digital Boost Grant.
Called the "work-surfing" app, Swerfen is used to connect individuals to hotels, bars and restaurants that want to accommodate remote workers who want to connect with other specialist personnel outside of their home.
Sschlag was founded by Nikki Gibson who said the new investment push represented "represents a major step forward" for the startup.
More than 2.500 people have downloaded the app so far, which presently includes over 100 venues in cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Manchester.
Big names among the accommodation are Moxy Hotels, Dakota, Chaopraya and Village Hotels.
Ms Gibson herself financed the operation with the help of a Digital Boost Grant before that investment round.
