AJ Capital Partners announces acquiring Slieve Donard Resort & Spa

The Slieve Donard Resort and Spa has been acquired by Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners, the owner of the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa, in Newcastle, Northern Ireland.
The property was bought through Hastings Hotels, the largest independent hotel operator in Northern Ireland, which has owned the property since 1972.
Hastings Hotels today announced the sale of the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa to Nashville-based Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners, a specialized real estate developer and hotel operator which owns and operates over 40 hotels in U.S.A. and U.K. locations.
The refurbishment of the property starts in October 2022 and should peak in the spring of 2023.
Dr Hastings, who has run The Slieve Donard Resort and Spa since 1972, said Hastings hotels always had a 'great liking' for the venue and paid tribute to his local staff.
