AirBnB bans all house parties around the world

New rules follow 'lockdown parties' and coronavirus threat being put on the board by B & B operators in UK.

The company last year adopted stricter limits by banning "party houses" on a global basis-a number which create permanent neighbourhood nuisance-has also done manual checks of what it regards as high-risk reservations, and has limited rent permits to guests under 25 as part of its efforts to control home parties.

Occupancy will be limited to 16 participants, with a limited number of exceptions for some venues.

The company said earlier this year that people under the age of 25 who have less than three or more positive reviews are limited to booking entire homes near where they live.

Lockdown parties at Airbnb real estate prompted the British Bed and Breakfast Association to issue warnings about a threat to communities.
