A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA OPERATIONS MANAGER AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Director of Spa, you can expect your working day to include the following..

  • Monitor the spa's actual and projected sales to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
  • Educates staff on ways to up sell the services and products offered at the spa. Ensuring outstanding guest service at all times.
  • Work with selected vendors for spa retail operations to deliver an outstanding guest service spa experience
  • Working with the Director of Spa to successfully execute all spa and leisure operations; striving to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department
  • Ensuring all procedures comply with COSHH and Health and Safety Standards.
  • You are also expected to carry out other duties that may be required to ensure the overall hotel operation is properly maintained to provide a total guest experience.
  • Proactively contribute ideas and share creative solutions to make Heavenly Spa the best possible workplace and destination of choice for our guests.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Spa Operations Manager, you will need the following qualities and skills:

  • Strong leadership skills, always leading by example.
  • Good understanding of a Hotel Spa environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Desirable -Spa therapist NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • 2 years previous spa/ wellness management/ supervisory experience in a luxury environment.
  • Desirable - Spa therapist background.
