We have a unique opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team ahead of our new ballroom extension this year.

For meetings and conferences, Cameron House provides a flexible choice of seven function spaces in a truly memorable setting, while our extensive corporate offering also includes a range of team-building and social activities.
The romantic setting of Loch Lomond also makes Cameron House the perfect place for spectacular weddings. We can tailor bespoke wedding for guests, from intimate celebrations and larger events for up to 400 guests, or anything in between.

Reporting to our Director of Sales our Sales Manager will target accounts in Scotland and allocated international markets. Initially you will work largely based at Cameron House, but as things move on the role will involve travel several days per week for client appointments and occasionally events and tradeshows across the UK or abroad.
Key things you will be responsible for:
To manage a portfolio of new and existing accounts
To plan and carry out effective research and to seek to identify sales opportunities and use lead referrals to maximise potential business
Ensuring delivery of revenue to meet and exceed targets through identifying new opportunities and relationship building within given market
Generating quotations based on initial client requirements and specification
Assisting with closing quotations and sales
Providing local market knowledge profiling new clients and key accounts for potential revenue streams and development.
Ensuring proactive plan and sales strategies
Targeting agencies and clients to develop incremental business
Host and organise Fam trips and Group hospitality events
Attend site inspections
Partnering with onsite reactive sales team for efficient and thorough communication
To conduct sales blitz's
Presentations to clients in person, webinars and over the phone
Maintain an appointment book with allocated targeted appointments
Attending exhibitions, trade shows, networking events representing Cameron House
Hosting of client events and entertainment trips for key clients and agencies to showcase our venue space
Qualifying business within the region through regular review and monitoring of competitor activity
Conducting cold calls and appointments in line with agreed targets
Documentation of all calls and appointments in Delph

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
HND/Degree in business/marketing/hospitality or equivalent experience
Current/recent experience of working in Sales within a 4/5* hotel environment ideally with knowledge of Scottish marketplace and clients
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex matters both verbally and in writing
Strong IT skills with knowledge of Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
