We have a unique opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our team ahead of our ballroom and bedroom extension this year.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Sales as a reactive Sales Executive you will be part of a fun, highly driven Sales and Events team and will work in partnership with your proactive sales colleagues and event planning team.
As a reactive Sales Executive in a busy department within the Resort your primary focus will be to respond to and ultimately secure group, meeting and events sales business received from multiple channels in line with both individual and departmental targets whilst delivering exceptional customer service to all clients at all times and developing new business relationships.
Examples of some key duties:
Respond with accurate proposals and quotations to group, conference and event enquiries received via all channels, and leads from reactive sales team and walk-ins
Identify guest needs and provide solutions to match them and design creative group schedules aimed at converting the enquiry into actual business.
On property site inspections.
Presentations to clients in person, webinars and over the phone if required.
Organising and hosting FAM trips
Attending exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events
Delivery of revenue conversion targets through identifying new opportunities and relationship building.
Maximising occupancy, revenue and profitability of accommodation and function space and upselling opportunities
Participate in sales blitz's with targeted goals.
Maintaining client accounts and booking processes.
Reporting on critical issues relating to any upcoming events and anticipated variances to forecasted revenues.
Taking part in all necessary meetings, briefings and project work and providing support when necessary.
Managing 3rd party supplier partnerships to ensure client satisfaction for all events/groups.

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
A strong background in an Events & Sales role in a similar size and quality of hotel.
Professional, self-motivated, positive and creative, with a passion for sales and events
Strong Interpersonal skills, and a high standard of written and verbal communication.
Proficient in IT packages (specific knowledge of Delphi would be beneficial) and strong administration skills.
