Job Description

Would you like to work for a company who put team above all else and pay the Real Living Wage?

As our Restaurant Manager you will have your finger on the pulse when it comes to food and beverage and Guest experience. You will be pivotal in delivering the standard of service we are known for.

On a quiet shift you can be found covering all areas of the Restaurant, but on a busier day you will be meeting our Guests at the door, guiding and coaching new members of the team through a weekend service or getting hands on at the Kitchen pass communicating with our Head Chef and his team. As our Restaurant Manager you understand the importance of teamwork across all departments and are adept at multi-tasking. As an experienced Manager in all aspects of the Restaurant you know the hard work and attention to detail required.

Behind the scenes you are passionate about working with your team to ensure that stock supplies, cash and banking up and cleanliness tasks are all completed accurately at the same time as providing development opportunities to less experienced team members.

Our Restaurant Manager is highly engaged with the venue team as well as teams across the wider group and enjoys showcasing news and activities on our internal communication platform.

We are looking for someone who is highly experienced in Restaurant Management, Leadership and have a passion for delivering a great experience. You are not individualistic or self-centered and do not expect from your teams what you are not prepared to do yourself. You do not reflect responsibility away from yourself but nor do you micro-manage.

We are very excited to welcome you to our team but don't get us wrong, we are looking for just the right fit. For someone who wants to be part of our journey, who understands our values, purpose and our passion and we won't accept anything less.

Skill and experience are necessary to do this job, but more than anything else, we want someone who shares our vision of a hospitality industry that is better and sees themselves being part of the team who can make this happen!

Do you love working in hospitality, but wish it was even better? Yea, us too!

That's why we are striving every day to make hospitality better for everyone; our team, customers, communities, charities and partners. But it takes a team to make an impact, and we want the best of the best people to join us on this mission.

We've already begun the journey, and have started to make hospitality better for our team by;

  • Paying every person the real living wage at a minimum, regardless of age or role.
  • Sharing 10% of our net profits with team who have been with us 12+ months, and basing it on average hours, not pay.
  • Removing zero-hours contracts (people now only get one if they request it).
  • Ensuring there's a Mental Health First Aider in every venue.
  • Facilitating team surveys to get feedback/opinions before we make key decisions.
  • Ensuring that our Team Member of the Month is voted for by the team and not managers.
  • Giving our team a paid day off to volunteer or fundraise for a charity.

It's just the beginning! But a business is only as strong as its people, so we need more amazing, passionate, determined people to help us create real change in our organisation (and industry). In exchange, we're committed to giving you the support, knowledge, development and opportunities you need to be give your very best.
