The Place: 

Our client is one of Scotland’s best-known 4* resort groups for leisure and hospitality. They are now seeking a Senior Banqueting and Events Manager to look after predominantly all of one of its resort's event business and be based at this Hub resort in Perthshire.

 

The Job: 

As Senior Banqueting and Events Manager, you will head up the Banqueting and Events Team and deliver planned well-executed events throughout the property as well as make sure all employees and guests gain a quality experience at all times.
You will actively implement strategies and deliver first-class events throughout the year.
You will work on the daily running of multiple events as and when required and be able to turn your hand to general day-to-day operations when time allows and is needed.
You will provide leadership, vision and direction on the group's functions, conferences and hospitality events, and will be responsible for quality service delivery to all clients using the property.
Produce and establish SOPs ensuring their adoption across the whole C&E department.
Responsible for KPI setting and benchmarking for all your team in line with company targets.
Provide business risk and contingency planning covering the events field of operations.

 

The Person: 

Ability to demonstrate good practical skills and have a full awareness of the events environment within resorts.
You will have prior Management experience for such events from start to finish.
In-depth knowledge of event setups, different styles of events, running of events, etc.
You are a team player and someone who takes pride in the quality of your work, is positive in your approach and is able to work in a dynamic business environment.
You will have come into contact with guests on a regular basis and have great customer service skills.

 

The Rewards:
