Xpress Recruitment are a specialist Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism recruitment company currently operating within the UK marketplace, previously winners of the UK Caterer Best Employers in Hospitality. Over the last 19 years Xpress have developed 3 specialised Recruitment Services that have assisted the company to expand outside its original Scottish marketplace and enabled the continuous  company growth.

The Job 

As part of Xpress’s development program we are now looking to recruit an experienced Recruitment Consultant that is “Looking for the next step up” or an experienced Recruitment Manager who is still operating as a “Billable fee earner”, looking for an opportunity to join a niche market player and be part of expansion plans for Xpress moving forward throughout 2022 and into 2023.

The areas that the business will support, train and develop the successful colleague will cover:

  • Working with long establish and new evolving clients account portfolios.
  • Recruitment and Retention Structures and Policies
  • Media and Marketing/Online
  • Communication and social media impact on industry and key drivers
  • Attending and contributing to industry associations, groups and charities
  • CSM: Client Relationship Management strategies
  • Database Management and Administration
  • KPI’s: Key Performance Indicators – covering targets and deadlines
  • Compiling and developing existing and new Account Management developments

The Person

If you are

  • driven by your own personal determination to surpass personal targets and resilient enough to bounce back from disappointments,

  • enjoy engaging with others in a people industry where delivering great service to both clients and candidates is what it’s all about
  • Based in Edinburgh.
  • Ideally, you will have at least 3 to 4 years exposure to working within the recruitment industry. Perhaps you may have previously worked within Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, and Leisure Retail High Street & Concessions at any level.
  • Able to demonstrate your “success” to date, working to deadlines and targets.
  • Sound basic educational background;
  • Experience to date of involvement in planning and time management related projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate good time keeping and reliability
  • An engaging and personable individual who can display confidence and takes pride in working within a customer focused environment

Hours of work are based over a flexible 40 hour working week which consist of field-based work coupled with office and home working
