A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A (INSERT JOB TITLE HERE) AT (INSERT HOTEL NAME HERE)
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Reception Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following:
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll be handling 'check-in' and 'check-out' with a welcoming smile, answering queries both face to face and over the telephone.
You'll be processing payments too, and taking responsibility for cashiering during your shift.
You'll sign-post guest requests to the relevant department as a when challenges arise to ensure our guests' comfort at all times.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements...
To succeed in the role of Receptionist, you will need the following qualities and skills:
A 'can do' approach to guest interaction and service, to ensure our guest's needs are catered for.
The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload, which on occasion may be under pressure!
Good written and verbal communication skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, (although not essential, previous expereince of Opera would be a distinct advantage).
