Are you a night owl? Preferring to work when our guests are sleeping and happy to take on the responsibility for the Hotel?
We need a responsible Manager who will relish in the challenge of being in charge of the hotel over-night - it's a busy and varied role, from checking in guests who have arrived late, to helping those back from a night out to their rooms, running the night audit reports and ensuring that health and safety standards and maintained at all times.
We want our guests to feel completely safe during their stay, so you'll need:
- Experience in customer service, ideally within the hotel industry
- To be someone our guests can feel comfortable talking to and trust to take care of everything during their stay
- To be immaculately turned out, with an unshakably professional and friendly demeanour
- Some experience with Opera hotel software, ideally
As the main point of contact for everyone who visits the hotel during the dark hours, you'll need to know our business inside out. That means being able to communicate effectively with the all other hotel departments and soak up knowledge so that, whatever the query, you'll always be able to help. By delivering genuine service and a feeling of security, you'll help build lasting relationships that will keep customers coming back.
Ideally you will have already worked in a night time role and be used to the unsociable hours and enjoy how that fits with your life. You will be used to working with a small team and taking responsibility to make things happen, You will be calm in a crisis and always endeavour to keep guests safe and happy.
