We have commenced our search for an experienced Front Office Supervisor to join new property Holiday Inn Blackpool. Due to open mid-2023, and reporting to the Front Office Manager. This brand-new four-star hotel is part of a wider regeneration project for Blackpool including retail units and improved public transport links, with a new tram terminal, all within the Talbot Gateway central business district. The property boasts 144 bedrooms, 3 meeting rooms and well renowned restaurant Marco Pierre White New York Italian, with independent street access.

Duties and responsibilities for this amazing role includes the following:

  • Responsible for the day to day running of the front desk, overseeing shifts, managing guest expectations, and delivering guest satisfaction.
  • Acting as a Duty Manager on a rota basis.
  • Engage, lead and develop the team to provide excellent guest service.
  • Train and implement Brand standards within the team.
  • Ensure all team responsibilities are completed to the required standards.


To succeed in the role of Front Office Supervisor, you will need the following qualities and skills.

  • Experience of working within a branded hotel environment, in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a positive can-do attitude.
  • Friendly efficient team player.
  • A visible leader who can demonstrate a confident approach to problem solving and service recovery.
  • Ability to train and develop your team, with a planned approach to managing the team
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Proactive shift management skills and great time management skills.
  • Enthusiastic with the ability to multitask
  • Opera PMS experience preferred
