HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT (Turndown)
We have a unique opportunity for a Housekeeping Turndown Assistant to join our team ahead of our hotel re-opening this year.

THE ROLE - Housekeeping Assistant - Turndown
The scope of the role is to ensure guest housekeeping needs are attended to throughout the evening, ensuring the highest level of comfort before and during sleep by providing evening service and replacement of amenities.
Key things you will be responsible for:
Servicing (cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, bed making and provision of linen and in room amenities) any late departures, room transfers or outstanding bedrooms
Answering guest requests
Turndown duties in allocated rooms which will include:
o Turn back bed covers, hang any clothes and arrange shoes
o Bathroom refreshes, wiping down, replacing towels, tissues, amenities if use
o Wash and polish any dirty glasses, replace water, replenish napkins and wash fruit knives and plates
o Clear table and arrange books and magazines neatly
o Empty bin.
o Check pillows and bed linen, remake if necessary.
o Close curtains
o To maintain cleanliness and tidiness in corridors at all times
General assistance in relation to the housekeeping, public areas and laundry department

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
Customer service and housekeeping experience an advantage
Great interpersonal skills, with an ability to build excellent working relationships
Thoroughness, with keen attention to detail
A flexible approach to work to meet operational demand
Excellent communication skills and ability to use hand held technology
