The Exciting Opportunity
The Food and Beverage Manager contributes to RBH Hotel's goals and values by supporting the Operations Manager with managing a team of 20 team members who work within our busy bar, restaurant and kitchen operation in the Hampton by Hilton - London Gatwick Airport. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the shift, managing guest expectations and delivering great guest satisfaction. Taking orders, delivering food and beverage, training the team in service standards, processing of accurate billing and cashier duties along with stock purchasing, controls, training and leading a great team of individuals. You will be required to act as a Duty Manager on a rota basis. The successful applicant for this role will be able to display great leadership skills, deliver excellent customer service, have a positive "can do" attutude and be willing to learn and show that they care.
Where Will You Be Working?
Hampton by Hilton - London Gatwick Airport is situated at the North Terminal of London Gatwick Airport, which is the UK's second largest airport. With 194 guest bedrooms, Restaurant and Bar, the hotel also has a gym facility and Meeting Room on site for 16 people. We pride ourselves in investing and developing our people and delivering outstanding customer service.
What Are We Looking For?
We're looking for an individual who can communicate well with others, can carry out and direct instructions, is able to pay close attention to detail and will commit to providing outstanding service to our guests. You must be able to work in a fast paced busy environment and remain calm and professional in high service demand times.
Experience within the hotel industry and a customer facing role is essential.You will have previous experience as a Bar and Restaurant Manager in a full service or focused service property.
