Xpress are delighted to be working with an International Branded Operator who has established their name and reputation for quality and service at the highest levels. Owing to internal changes and promotions our client is now looking to appoint a General Manager to run and to head up their award winning Branded Restaurant based in city centre of Edinburgh.
As restaurant General Manager you will be fully responsible for the day to day responsibility of a highly busy 300 / 400 cover per day restaurant covering everything from Financials, Staffing, Training and Development in line with the company’s and departmental remits. You will report into a Director of Operations.
Currently the business is going through a reopening phase from Covid and the new General Manager will be heavily involved in working with the companies HR and perhaps the existing GM in a formal handover to ensure the existing team of 25 are supported in all “back to work phasing” and re training programs as the business perhaps to support all employees or this re opening journey.
Ideally, we are looking to attract an experience individual who perhaps is current operating at a Deputy GM level and now as they see industry starting to re-open feels it might now be the right time to take that step up in their career. Or perhaps you maybe an existing successful Restaurant GM working in an independent or small chain or group and you now wish to take that opportunity to step up and gain experience and develop within a Worldwide Branded operator where you can get additional exposure and opportunities to travel if this is something that you would wish to look at once you have established your credentials within the business.
Above all we are looking for an outstanding individual and Leader who enjoys working in a Branded Restaurant environment can aid and assist all employees, develop everyone to their true potential while making sure that health and well-being are balanced within an ever changing working environment while not losing sight on achieving all of the company’s business objectives relating to financials and SOP’s policies.
Our client is looking to appoint a Restaurant General Manager circa £35,000 to £40,000 plus additional company benefits and bonuses, this is a great opportunity to grow a join an award winning employer and be part of a strong and robust operator.
