Job Description

Can you stay calm, professional and personable in a fast-paced environment?

We're looking for a dedicated and professional Front Office Manager who is skilled in management and organisation. The full-time role includes overall responsibility for the front desk, front of house porters, night team and reservations. It requires confidence, communication skills, a friendly personality and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You'll need to be flexible about working hours, including weekends. Excellent personal presentation is also essential.

It's a fast-paced environment, so you'll need to be able to stay calm under pressure and multi-task effectively. You'll also need to be able to anticipate guests' needs, deal with their enquiries and requests, and pass these on to colleagues if necessary.

With overall responsibility for the operation of the front office department, you'll manage the group and individual reservations processes, and review availability and revenue strategy day by day. A full knowledge of all the hotel's amenities is also required, so that you can upsell. You'll also train and develop the team.

Using strong admin skills, you'll manage the team's shifts, handle the department's accounts, and liaise with other departments to ensure rooms are always properly prepared for new guests.
