We have a great opportunity for a Food and Beverage Office Manager to join the group at Jurys Inn & Leonardo Hotels.

We want you to lead a brilliant and diverse team to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing hotel.

A dynamic role working with Operations and Marketing teams to deliver an exciting calendar of events across our portfolio of Leonardo Royal Hotels including NYX London Holborn and Sabine Rooftop Bar as well as overseeing day to day reservations and enquiries.

You will be tasked with professionally dealing with a variety of reactive sales enquiries, in order to generate F&B Revenue for the Leonardo Royal hotels with prime focus on NYX and Sabine. 

You will be able to demonstrate first class customer service skills, have the ability to adapt and multi- task whilst having that keen eye for detail. Your key responsibility is to ensure that all enquiries are answered and once contracted co-ordinated to ensure that we gain maximum market share from all customers and gain their loyalty.

Experience in the London Bar and Restaurant market is essential and a flexible attitude is required to meet the needs of a growing business beyond the tasks included below.

Experience we expect

  • Department Manager or exceptional Duty Manager looking for their first HOD role Background in branded hotels or restaurants is preferred - so you will understand how we work and settle in quickly
    Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
    To be able to make decisions in a fast paced environment and to enjoy it
    To be great at up-selling - anticipating customer needs as well as improving the bottom line To be able to manage the team and resources available to ensure that the departments are equipped for service via cost controls, stock monitoring and good rota management
    To be able to communicate to and motivate your team providing day to day leadership and direction
     Be able to use computer systems - we use Opera, SAP and Micros. (for the occasional time you do get a desk)
  • Have worked in a similar role within the hospitality industry in London. 
  • An interest in the London bar and restaurant industry is essential
  • Proactive, self-motivated and experienced in working with multiple stakeholders.
  • A strategic and energetic approach mind, with a clear vision for the success of the activity
  • Strong communication skills to successfully engage stakeholders across the business with new ideas

Your responsibilities will be:

  • In charge of the F&B reservations team.
  • Ensuring all hotels are setup on Collins or similar reservation system and if not using a system yet ensure this is implemented and operational.
  • Training of the onsite team on the F&B reservation systems and monitor to ensure the system is used correctly and efficient.
  • Assisting the F&B property teams with any queries regarding F&B reservations and events bookings.
  • Liaise with the marketing team on any F&B updates necessary on the website or booking platforms, to ensure info is correct and guests find easy ways to book
  • Process all incoming NYX & Sabine enquires ensuring they are dealt with and processed in line with company time frames.
  • Produce proposals for all enquires ensuring there is sufficient detail which is in line with the spec of each event.
  • Increase conversion of enquiries by developing client relationships and maximizing sales leads
  • Arrange and conduct site inspections ensuring the inspections are fulfilled professionally, efficiently and effectively and mirror the requirements of the visiting client
  • Produce, issue and chase the return of contracts for events.
  • Ensure Collins/Designmynight is updated with accurate and relevant information and final detail requirements.
  • Send out contract and Payment links through Collins/ Designmynight and confirm signed and paid prior to the event.
  • Ensure payments are claimed and posted correctly through Opera.
  • Produce function sheets through Collins for all events ensuring all necessary detail is noted.
  • In conjunction with the Operations and Marketing team assist with the develop of a calendar of Food and Beverage events and activations for various venues.
  • Setting up guidelines and SOP's for the operational teams on how to deal with enquiries/ reservations for F&B venues.
  • Competitor checks to ensure pricing and F&B events offering is in line with the competition.
  • Setting up pricing grids for different venues/ locations for enquiries of 6 including packages and menu offering.
  • Send out contract and Payment links through Collins/ Designmynight and confirm signed and paid prior to the event.
