Job Description

Scone Palace is going through an exciting time of change, investing in new systems and technology. We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and organised individual to provide support within the Finance team.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within finance and have current and relevant IT skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines. The Finance Department comprises a small team and good communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work with confidentiality in mind at all times.

The role will encompass sales and purchase ledger processing, cash handling and banking, processing payments, preparing customer statements and financial reports as required. The role includes answering telephone calls and responding to general finance related enquiries and providing holiday cover for colleagues.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and independently. Previous experience of Sage is desirable. A high level of organisational and communication skills and a positive and helpful attitude is essential.

Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
