Job Description

The Place:  

Xpress is delighted to be working again with one of our outstanding and award-winning 5-star Ayrshire-based venues. As part of our clients 2022/23 growth and investments plans, they are now looking to recruit an inhouse “Events Planning Manager”


The Job: 

As Events Planning Manager you will be fully responsible for planning and confirming all the finite details to create the most spectacular and memorable events and these events can and will range from a wide variety of occasions covering Events like “Prestigious Exclusivity or VIP Events” to Elegant and breath-taking Weddings through to exquisite dining and private functions. All this planning must be detailed and executed with the highest degree of pinpoint admin and communication, and you must be able to work to rigid deadlines.


The Person:   

Ideally, we are looking to attract an experienced individual who perhaps has worked in an Operational “Events” or “Sales” capacity and owing to the hours of work and operational or sales demands you are now looking to move out of this remit, yet you still wish to stay within this “Events” environment”. This Events Planning Manager role would see you based in a predominate Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm remit (with the occasional ad hoc VIP weekend requirements). As Events Planning Manager, you will be able to flex your working week by working from home and also from the Venue you will be the “central cog”, so it would be critical that you are able to demonstrate your ability to manage your time and be on property at critical times for the planning of meetings remit, where you will be the central point for Sales and Operations regarding the “Specific Event detail”. As Events Planning Manager, you will be fully responsible for communicating with all personnel and departments regarding the “Event” detail. Outlining How the Event has been planned, what must happen, who must implement and what must be covered off to the smallest of detail.
