Kimpton Blythswood Square are looking for a Conference & Banqueting Assistant to join our growing events team.

Salary £10.00 per hour, Plus Tips

(We are hiring Part Times Positions, with guaranteed contractual hours of 8, 16 or 24 hours per week)

Conference & Banqueting Assistant's looks after our guests within our events spaces including private functions, such as weddings, parties & dinners (we're super proud to also have our very own private cinema!).

Conference & Banqueting Assistants help to welcome our guests and delegates, set up and take down tables and equipment, or serve food and drink on the day. You may also set up or operate different types of equipment used for conferences, such as audio-visual systems.

Our Conference & Banqueting staff usually work part time hours as above, Most of your working time is based on a rota, covering evenings and weekends.  Early starts and late finishes may be necessary on the day of an event.

Our conference & banqueting department is a massively growing area, with opportunities for all team members to develop in themselves in this area or move to another function of the hotel as your career progresses with us, should you so choose!

What experience, qualifications or training should I have to apply?

Hospitality experience, or experience in customer service would be great, we're a people centric business & our team thrive on providing exceptional service to our guests and delegates.  This isn't essential however, as we can teach you the service skills.  We just need you to bring your charming personality & desire to be hospitable.
