 Title Heading Commis Chef : Monday to Sunday working 5 days over 7


Ratho Park is a private members club with over 900 members situated approximately 5 minutes from Edinburgh airport.

We are currently looking for a “Commis chef” who will report directly into a Head Chef and be part of an established and well run kitchen, where as Commie Chef you will be inducted into a Monday to Friday working week.

As “Commie Chef” you will be fully responsible for being involved in basic food preparation and cooking tasks under the supervision of Head Chef. As Commie Chef will be given every opportunity to take responsibility and learn on the job.

The main aim here at Ratho is to deliver exceptional food and service to our members, while supporting the communication of compliance requirements to all team members with regards to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and any other related legislative requirements. Have the drive to learn and understand how to carry out the functions of various sections of the kitchen , strive on consistency and quality.


As part of your training and ongoing development you will be given training on how daily orders are processed and internal procedures as well as, inspection, rotating items and insuring no spoiled or broken items are received. Ratho as a community-based club supporting and work with local fresh produce and suppliers.
