The Job:
As the Business Support & Member Relations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation, reporting directly to the CEO. Your responsibilities will include:
• Taking ownership of day-to-day business, membership and event finance administration.
• Managing HR functions such as sickness, payroll processing, holiday and pension administration.
• Preparation and issuance of company reports to the board on a quarterly/monthly basis.
• Handling all administration related to statutory company governance reporting and processing bill payments.
• Acting as the initial key point of contact for members, prospective new members and external suppliers.
• Organising Board event/meeting arrangements, including distribution of agenda papers and minuting of Board meetings.
• Managing hybrid office management duties such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, including IT needs.
• Performing clerical tasks such as raising new membership invoices and renewals and forwarding finance information to external bookkeepers weekly.
• Responding to phone calls and inquiries from members and others in a professional and courteous manner.
• Effective communication with all team members and external stakeholders.
• Providing support at organised events such as AGMs, conferences and Patrons receptions.

The Person:
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:
• Previous experience in office management procedures and human resource administration.
• Knowledge of Scotland's tourism and hospitality business landscape (advantageous).
• Proficiency in using Zero or other accounting and CRM software (a plus).
• Previous experience in a similar administrative or business support/membership role with an industry/sector trade body (desirable).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Possesses a positive and can-do attitude.

The Benefits:
• Pro rata salary of £23,160.00 per annum for 30 hours per week over a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Company pension scheme (5%).
• Flexible working hours over a minimum of 4 days per week.
• Discretionary yearly performance-related bonus.
• Work Location: Hybrid – with a minimum of 2 days per week in Glasgow or Stirling offices.
• Expected Start Date: 13/05/2024 or sooner.
