A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A (INSERT JOB TITLE HERE) AT (INSERT HOTEL NAME HERE)

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following:

  • Take ownership of the breakfast experience: Manage your station, prepare and cook signature breakfast dishes from scratch, and ensure consistent quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a pristine and organized workstation: Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards, and keep your station impeccably clean and efficient.
  • Inventory and cost-efficiency: Manage breakfast inventory, order supplies, and contribute to cost-effective practices.
  • Collaborate and innovate: Assist the sous chef and Executive chef with breakfast menu development, recipe testing, and special events.
  • Shine with positivity: Foster a collaborative and supportive kitchen environment, promoting teamwork among your colleagues.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Breakfast Chef, you will need the following qualities and skills:

  • A passionate chef with at least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • A master of your culinary craft, skilled in breakfast cooking techniques, plate presentation, and ensuring perfect doneness.
  • Able to deliver exceptional results under pressure.
  • A meticulous organizer and planner, ensuring your station runs smoothly and efficiently during peak morning hours.
  • A passionate advocate for quality and consistency, guaranteeing every dish reflects Gantry Union Social's high standards.
  • An effective communicator, collaborating seamlessly with fellow chefs, the sous chef, and the Executive Chef to maintain a positive and productive kitchen atmosphere.
